Hi, I’m Gabriela (Gaby) Cárcova. I was born in Mexico and raised in Buenos Aires, where I studied Sociology, Film Producing, and Screenwriting.

Storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do, and over the past 25+ years, I’ve built a career producing commercials, films, and TV content that connect with audiences around the world. I’ve had the privilege of producing award-winning campaigns in collaboration with leading directors and global brands like Apple, Nike, Lacoste, Armani, and Google.

 

Along the way, I’ve worked with incredible talents including Lionel Messi, Winona Ryder, Elizabeth Olsen, RegeJean Page, Craig Venter, Geraldine Chaplin. From 2010 to December 2024, I was Managing Partner and Creative Producer at Primo.

 

In 2025 driven by a constant desire for growth and learning, I founded Carmen (www.carmen.mov), my own production company—an exciting new chapter focused on telling bold, original stories. My most recent credit is for Producing "Vieja Loca” (2025), along with J.A. Bayona & Belen Atienza. It’s a horror film, in the vain of Misery, starring Carmen Maura & Daniel Hendler. It’s Martin Mauregui’s debut as a director. Theatrical Released in Spain in October and in Argentina in November 2025. The Film premiered at Austin Fantastic Fest and in Sitges Film Festival. Studio Canal is the sales agent and Shudder and Amazon Spain have licensed SVOD rights for their territories.

 

I’ve also produced television projects like "Out There" for Studio+ (Iconoclast/Primo), nominated for International Emmy Awards 2018 and "Here on Earth" (Fox Premium), and served as country producer for The Amazing Race (CBS). I am passionate about crafting work that moves people and about building teams that bring creativity and excellence into every production.
