I’m Hernán Alvarado Martínez , an audiovisual director born in Ecuador and raised in Buenos Aires.
I started in production, but quickly discovered my passion was behind the camera. With over 20 years of experience , I’ve worked in film and advertising, on both national and international productions.

 

In 2018 , I premiered my first short film, Nada de todo esto , selected at INCAA’s Historias Breves, which opened the door to telling stories from the margins. That journey led to Sangre Negra , a documentary about Afro-Argentine history through a family from Corrientes, supported by Mecenazgo BA and INCAA.

 

I’m currently developing my first feature film, Ascenso , starring Malena Sánchez and Matías Recalt.
I’ve worked across music videos, advertising, and digital content, always searching for the language that best tells each story.

 

I’m part of Fresco , an agency focused on creativity and audiovisual production.
