Juan Pablo Zaramella, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a renowned director and animator whose work encompasses advertising, film, and television. He is especially recognized as a reference in stop motion, one of his great passions and areas of expertise.

 

His short film Luminaris became an international phenomenon and achieved a Guinness World Record in 2018 as the most awarded short film in history, having won 324 awards. Among these awards are those from the public and critics at the prestigious Annecy Festival, one of the most important festivals for animated films worldwide.

 

Zaramella has a unique ability to effortlessly transition between experimental and popular styles, blending innovative aesthetics with deeply human stories. His visual language is characterized by comedy and intelligent humor, evident in both his commercial and authorial projects.
